Transformation of an old building into 3 modern B rated apartments with full fire certificate.
This project involved the refurbishment and conversion of an abandoned three-storey building in the centre of Athlone. We retained and upgraded the existing front façade to preserve the character of the street while carrying out a full internal strip-out, structural alterations and reconfiguration to deliver three fully compliant B1-rated apartments.
Works included new windows throughout, a warm roof construction to the rear, foul drainage upgrades, fire compartmentation, acoustic improvements and full services installation. All works were delivered within the constraints of a busy main street location with restricted access and live surroundings.
